span – the boundary between space and graphics

Comme annoncé sur notre page Facebook et sur Twitter il y a quelques jours, nous avons enfin reçu un exemplaire de Span - the boundary between space and graphics (trad. “la frontière entre espace et illustrations” – Page One Publishing, lang. EN, 250 pages). Ce livre présente une large variété d’éléments graphiques ainsi que leur application dans différents espaces : 5.5 Designers (FR), Jon Burgerman (UK), Ja!Studio (ES), Motorfinger (NO), Pandarosa (AU), Rinzen (AU/DE), Lee Jang Sub (KR), Poulin+Morris (US), Void Planing (KR), Paris Airport (FR), etc… L’utilisation d’éléments visuels ne montrent pas seulement toute la philosophie de la décoration dans l’espace mais crée aussi une plus grande interaction avec le public. Span est aussi un regard sur la relation visuelle qui unit graphique et espace : installation, stand, illustrations intérieure et extérieure, revêtement mural, etc… Le concept e-glue de considérer l’espace pour enfants comme une page blanche à illustrer exemplifie parfaitement la thématique du livre et a donc été sélectionné pour y être présenté en 3 double pages ! As announced on our Facebook page and on Twitter few days ago, we finally received a copy ofSpan – the boundary between space and graphics (Page One Publishing, lang. EN, 250 pages). This book features a variety of graphic elements and their application in different spaces : 5.5 Designers (FR), Jon Burgerman (UK), Ja!Studio (ES), Motorfinger (NO), Pandarosa (AU), Rinzen (AU/DE), Lee Jang Sub (KR), Poulin+Morris (US), Void Planing (KR), Paris Airport (FR), etc… The visual elements do not only display the philosophy of spatial decoration, but also create a greatinteraction with audience, providing many insights into the visual relationship between graphics and space : installation, stand, interior & exterior graphics, wallcovering, etc… The e-glue concept ofconsidering kids’ space as a blank page for illustration perfectly exemplifies the book’s theme and thus was selected to be featured in it through 3 double pages !
